People are always asking me where I get my stuff! Like in America we have some a scarcity of junk, trash, and discarded things! I love to find old dump sites, campsites, & railroad yards with junk laying around. Amongst the "trash" I can always find something special. ![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5vRxFqpsUghedux99eX0EsWeuStz0D1ERynjRU5XpzqLENYfIFAsR2b9sKNy8H55RVtLLUMeH-wiEboH5d5fD-q3moI3sjAx1zg7B9LHecdKNK-MQTMOsuvfrG09r40Ih1GGrBaTLvcE/s640/blkholestuff.jpg)
I also shop at thrift stores, flea markets & garage sales. But many times people just give me stuff. I think their hope that it may become art and not end up in the landfill, which is my hope as well.

The Black Hole, Los Alamos, NM |
One of my favorite shops WAS The Black Hole (permanently closed sadly), which was in Los Alamos, NM. A military supply dump where all the old discarded military machinery, bombs, electronics and cast offs from a bygone era come for their final days. The movie makes from Hollywood come here to buy props.
I simply can't resist creating mischief and coaxing humor from the most mundane of objects. I love to create an unexpected twist that presents the viewer with multiple meanings and dissimilar images.
The universe is full of endless possibilities and I want to explore every one of them.
